For: All of us who can’t attend the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee this weekend

Prescriber’s Notes: So, this is a little bit of a self-prescription really. The Queen celebrates 60 years in the monarchy this year. She is the queen of 16 sovereign states, 12 of which were British colonies or Dominions at the start of her reign.

Queen Victoria has been the only other Queen who has ever celebrated the Diamond Jubliee, so this is quite the event! As you can see I clearly have a bit of an obsession with the Royal Family. Could be due to the fact that I am part British, or because I live in Canada, either way I know that there are others just like me, who are wishing they were in London right now!

Retail Therapy to the rescue (as always)! My two favourite shops in London – Harrods and Fortnum & Mason have some beautiful gifts and souvenirs to mark the event.
